Consumption goods and capital goods

Consumption goods 
Meaning:- this are those goods which are bought by consumers as final or altimate goods to satisfy their wants, This includes:-
  • Durable goods:- Goods which can be usable to us for more than three years. It is basicly higher in price. For example- car, etc..
  • Semi Durable goods:- this are those goods which can be usable to us for more than one year . It is high in price but less expensive than durable goods. For example- clothes, etc..
  • Durable goods:- this are those goods which are usable to us for less than one year or we can say that it is single use. It is generally low in price. For example- crockery.
Services:- this is a extra part of the consumption goods because it is consumed as final goods. For example- services of a teacher.

Capital goods 
Meaning:- There are thos final goods which form the capital stock of a country in there accounting year and which is used up in the production process. This include:-
  • Durable goods.
  • Stock of the raw materials, refurbished and furnished goods at the end of the accounting year.
